Locked In the Bathroom

On Halloween, some friends and I were walking around CMC's North Quad trying to find a party. One of my friends was meeting someone in their dorm, and when we got there, he wasn't there. The guys that were there seemed uncomfortable with us being in the room, one. Two, after this guy we were meeting showed up and quickly left again, some other guy who didn't even live in this dorm room came in and tried to rush us out of "his room." I promptly told him that he didn't even live there, but he was still being rude. I was waiting for my friend who was using the bathroom, so I went to wait in there. In these dorms, three rooms surround a shared bathroom that is in the middle. Our whole group was in the bathroom, and perhaps we were talking a long time, but I don't see that as an excuse. When we tried to leave, the door to the room we'd entered had been locked, as well as the door directly across. For a moment we were freaked out that we'd be stuck in the bathroom all night, but luckily another door was unlocked. The rooms of the guys that we'd met at this dorm were locked though, which seems very deliberate to me. I think we would've received a warning or we just wouldn't have been locked into the bathroom at all if we weren't a group of black women.
